There is nothing quite as lonely as an empty house, the furniture untouched, dust covering the floors and silence filling every room. These two portraits of Shakespeare's Mariana are an attempt at placing life amongst the emptiness, without disturbing the dust or breaking the silence. They are portraits of solitude and of pensiveness; they are a celebration of memories as well as of moments forgotten.
